Because Boo was such a small piece, it didn't completely satisfy my Halloween urge. So I pulled out a long-abandoned UFO -- Just Nan's Girls' Night Out. There was very little I had left to do: one over-one face, a little backstitching, the witches' hair, and the broom bristles.
As I was working on this, I was wondering why I had put it aside. Probably something else caught my attention. But I was really enjoying it, and feel a sense of accomplishment that I turned a UFO into a finished piece. Well, finished in terms of the stitching. I don't know if I'll do anything with it. Ri

It's very cute, Cynthia. Did the kit have threads or perle cotton? I love the little pillow kits where you just insert the stitching when completed. Talk about instant gratification!
Fun finishes!! One day, I will also finish my Halloween piece now going on many years WIP :) only wish there were more fun holidays like Halloween to stitch for. great crazy colours and designs = extra fun.
Judi, The kit came with Weeks Dye Works and Sampler Thread cotton floss. It definitely was instant gratification!
May, Yes, the purples, oranges and reds are fun to use altogether. I changed the fabric to this purple one (don't remember exactly what it is.) The design called for a neutral color which wouldn't have been as much fun.
OOH, I do like!
